What’s New
Windows and Linux Support
Cyclemetry now runs on Windows and Linux in addition to macOS. While still early days for these platforms, they’ve been tested and are functional — a big step toward a truly cross-platform overlay tool.
New Element Types
Three new overlay elements are now available:
- Image assets — add logos, sponsor graphics, or any PNG/JPG to your overlay
- Gauges — circular or arc-based metric displays with customizable styling
- Meters — horizontal or vertical progress bars for continuous values (speed, power, heart rate)
Element Groups & Layering
You can now group elements together and configure their layering order. This makes it much easier to compose complex overlays with overlapping elements, and to organize your scene for cleaner editing.
Custom Fonts
Templates now support custom fonts — upload your own typeface to match your brand or aesthetic. No more limited to system fonts.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed element layer positioning for drag-and-drop reordering
- Fixed rotation support for meter and gauge elements
- Fixed path resolution and log initialization on Windows
Known Issues
- Windows and Linux support is still maturing — some edge cases may not be fully resolved
- Hardware-accelerated encoding remains macOS-only; Windows uses software encoding
